Why I Created the Lauren
I was tired of choosing between style and functionality. I wanted one bag that could go from weekend adventures to weekday meetings - without compromise.
I knew I wanted a fold-over style, but I didn't want to limit it to two ways to wear? So I added two detachable straps instead of one. Suddenly she became a shoulder bag, crossbody, foldover, and clutch.
The backpack option? That was discovered by one of my biggest fans - a true "aha!" moment.
And when women with longer torsos asked for more strap length, we extended it to 54 inches. That's what I love about being a small business: I actually listen.

The short answer? Yes and your wallet will thank you later. Our bags are made from full-grain leather that gets better with age, handcrafted in Chicago since 2009, and designed to replace every bag in your closet. No fast fashion, no shortcuts. Just bags you'll love a lifetime.
The Lauren is designed to carry a lot without weighing you down, ranging from approximately 1.5–2 lbs depending on size and leather. If weight is a priority, our lightest options are our Distressed leathers - Happy Trails and River Rock are great starting points.

No stress - we make it easy. Exchanges are accepted within 30 days on unworn, tagged items. We'll issue store credit or gift card with no expiration so you can choose your new size at your leisure. A $10 return label fee applies, but no restocking fee.
Ships within 4 - 7 days. We do not have a dedicated corporate shipping department, or warehouses filled with inventory in plastic bags. Everything is packaged with care in our made to order dust bags.
